Ja on je bil 3 leta v Laursnovem campu na severu tajske zdej se je pa preselu v WMC kamp. Lastnik WMC kampa je Stefan Fox trenerji so pa isti ko v contener showu

kolko sem gledal za rawai muay thai, bi bilo 1500€ čist zadosti za en mesec (letalska karta+namestitev+trening+hrana), me pa tudi zanima za ta wmc kemp, koliko bi tam kaj stalo. naj tisti, ki so že bli, povejo kaj s kolko se da preživeti fajn

miran podeli z nami iskušnje....

sej če je 1500-2000 € pol ni tuk drago za 1 mesc

Lamai Camp History: The original Lamai camp was established in the late 80’s as a boxing and weights gym up until 1995, when it opened as one of the first MUAYTHAI resort camps in the world.

The Camp now has the full backing of the authoritative MUAYTHAI world governing body, the World Muaythai Council (WMC), established under the directive of the Thai Government with over 100 countries as part of the organisation.

About the Camp: The Lamai Koh Samui camp is open to all levels of MUAYTHAI students from novice to amateur to pro-class.  The camp has been the training grounds for many great competitors from K1 stars, including some of the champs, and for so many MUAYTHAI enthusiasts from around the world.  The camps instruction & regimen are designed to work for everyone’s needs. The camp is very popular with both male and female enthusiasts from around the world who train for competition, fitness and/or self-defence.

The Thai instructors have also been chosen specifically for their specialized skills and expertise.  Instructors such as the well-travelled Hanarong, who speaks fluent English and has taught MUAYTHAI in many countries, taking on the beginners to intermediate classes or the famous Thai Fighter, Nokweed Davy with over 400 fights under his belt and one of the best known Thai fighters in the world teaching the fighters.  That is only to mention a couple of the members as we have a fine group of training staff that awaits you at the Lamai Camp.

Within a few training sessions and of course we have to consider it may take a little time to acclimatised our instructors will be able to assess your level of fitness and range of techniques so that they can make sure your ability and potential stay within your ability.  They can also help you to set your goals and targets for improvement while you stay with us.  Remember, all the aspects of MUAYTHAI can be taught at the camp and they are all special; RAM MUAY, KRABI KRABONG and MUAYBORAN.

Training Sessions:  The training is split up into two sessions, a morning session beginning at 7am and an afternoon session at 5pm .  The training we offer is very much based on technique and you can push yourself as hard as you want.  The trainers will respond to you and your level and should you wish to push harder they will guide you.  Everybody trains together from the professional fighters to the complete novice however you will not be placed out of your depth.  Training typically last 2 hours per session and will begin with a short run to warm up or alternatively you can skip.  The technique session will then last around 40 minutes to 1 hour going through all the aspects of Muaythai from defense to attack.  Then depending on the size of the group you’ll be asked to kick pads or go on a bag whilst you wait to kick pads.  Grappling and light sparring (no egos here) may take place before or after the pad session depending on how the class is structured.  Conditioning work will then be left to you to do in the weights gym should you wish to do so although we can help you with a program if you have specific needs.  If you feel uncomfortable at any time or feel you would benefit more from your training should we structure things differently then please feel free to pass on your comments as we are looking to constantly improve not only our students but ourselves and ensure 100% is gained from your time spent with us.

**Note: For visitors interested in competing here there is the possibility of taking a bout while staying at the camp. These ‘fight-nights’ are always one of the highlights as the whole camp as visitors & staff go over to the stadium for full support and an unforgettable night.

Private Training:  At the camp we also offer private instruction out of class hours with any of our famous training staff.  The cost for an hours training is 800baht for non gym members and discounted to 500baht for members.  Bulk session maybe discounted but must be paid for in advance.

Location: The Lamai Camp is immersed in idyllic island surroundings and the culture of Thailand, with the appreciated advantage of being only a minute’s walk away from the breathtaking powder white beaches of Koh Samui, where many trainees take their morning run at sunrise, silhouettes moving against the backdrop of the sun rising out of the Gulf of Thailand.

Accommodation:  There are several of types of accommodation to choose from which are listed below to suit all budgets. From the basic to the deluxe, all have the same superb standard of hygiene and comfort.

The following rates are for all styles of accommodation and two inclusive training sessions daily, as well as free use of all the gym facilities. Food is not included in this price but we do have a restaurant attached to the camp which does great Thai and Western dishes at very affordable prices.

The camp is open to everyone - there are no politics, no egos, no prejudice – all are equal at Lamai gym.  Everyone is there to learn, enjoy and be part of the MUAYTHAI experience.

The camp is fairly priced and transport from the airport or ferry can be arranged as well. With our rates people tend to stay for extended periods so check for availability before arranging your stay.
